Transgender Day of Visibility

For Transgender Day of Visibility in 2022, M Booth highlighted 50 trans activists and change makers in the company blog and the internal DE&I newsletter.

The deliverables included a header image and various assets for the newsletter and blog article, and special photo treatments to highlight the 50 activists.

For the overall direction, we used highly saturated colors with high contrast. Although we were dealing with a serious topic, we wanted to highlight gender euphoria in our designs. We also opted for fluid shapes and gradient colors to reflect the fluidity of gender. These themes are reflected in illustration, and influenced the rest of the designs.

The photo frames for the headshots used the same colors and style from the illustration, and also referenced the shapes of butterfly wings, a symbol of transformation. The same style carried over to the deck design.
