Google for Education - Black History Month 2021

This series of social posts was designed for Google for Education, celebrating Black History Month in 2021. The series focuses on the theme of connecting with family and community, especially during the pandemic. We chose to use tree branches to represent family trees, and showed family history with illustrated photos. Style for this series was inspired by the illustrative collage look of midcentury jazz albums, which implied a DIY element since many posts in this series were also lesson plan ideas. The main colors are red, green, and yellow, with the blue used sparingly throughout.
